About Us

The Property

There are many walking tracks that allow you to experience different types of forests. The property is 54 acres of diverse bush land. Parts of dry eucalyptus to rainforest, we have about 2 kilometres of walking tracks on our property to explore.

Stunning clusters of bats fly over to feed in Springbrook National Park in seasons.

The full moon rising is a sight to be seen from our hill and you feel that you have front row seats to this stunning spectacle.

Rainbows from our hill are a magnificent sight to be witnessed, regular occurrences when we receive a summers day shower.

The wildlife is abundant, lots of birds, king parrots and yellow crested cockatoos, with the wedged tale eagles flying by.

Early morning visitors being wallabies and kangaroos.

We catch our own water so it is clean untreated and simply tastes beautiful. It’s also lovely to clean yourself with natural water.

Each season is spectacularly different. The animals and the surrounds change dramatically.

Phone reception and Satellite NBN WIFI

Please understand it is limited service due to our location and peak usage times. The performance of movie streaming and usage can also be effected by weather conditions, from interrupted satellite connection. All building positions have good phone reception through Telstra and certain other selected service providers.

Please be aware that if you do dip into valleys throughout the property and area, phone reception is lost.

EV Charging

By appointment, we can provide an EV charger.

The History

Originally a decommissioned banana farm.

After several years of hard work, we have completed pre-existing conversions & new builds with off-grid infrastructure & bush regeneration throughout the 54-acre property, planting over 900 native trees.

It is now a beautiful & loved eco-retreat with a farm stay experience. Perched high amongst the large gum trees, overlooking the Gold Coast City skyline, providing private spaces & walking tracks.

This retreat is showing off what is possible, the joy & benefits of living in nature, off-grid, and in comfort, with a sustainable lifestyle.

Perched high overlooking the beautiful Austinville valley and the Gold Coast City lights and the Gold Coast Hinterland, With Springbrook National Park as a neighbour🌞

Beautiful infrastructure, and smart eco-technology to make these Tree Houses 100% off-grid, while harvesting clean locally caught water and power with solar and battery.

Instant hot water and cooking with gas.

Come & experience it for yourself, relax and enjoy the health benefits of living so close and sustainably within nature.

A very unique and memorable stay. A lot of thought has gone into essentials, while keeping to a minimum within a small space. There’s even food to feed the animals. The setting is really quite beautiful, and so peaceful
