A Perfect Destination

There are many walking tracks that allow you to experience different types of forests. The property is 54 acres of diverse bush land. Parts of dry eucalyptus to rainforest, we have about 2 kilometres of walking tracks on our property to explore. Stunning clusters of bats fly over to feed in Springbrook National Park in seasons.

The full moon rising is a sight to be seen from our hill and you feel that you have front row seats to this stunning spectacle. Rainbows from our hill are a magnificent sight to be witnessed, regular occurrences when we receive a summers day shower.

The wildlife is abundant, lots of birds, king parrots and yellow-crested cockatoos, with the wedged tale eagles flying by. Early morning visitors being wallabies and kangaroos.

We catch our own water so it is clean untreated and simply tastes beautiful. It’s also lovely to clean yourself with natural water.

Each season is spectacularly different. The animals and the surrounds change dramatically.

Rock Pools. Enjoy local natural rock pools close by along the end of Austinville Rd, 5 to 10-min drive away. 


Private Walking Tracks

The 54 acres that this Eco retreat has been built, has about 2 km worth of walking tracks going through valleys that change so diversely from dry eucalyptus to open grassland to rainforest. The biodiversity of this property is grand. The array of different birds and animals that can be seen is magnificent. We do get the rare black cockatoo that comes in for the she oak and the silky oak tree when they come into flower. Wallabies, Kangaroos, Cockatoos so many beautiful animals and nature sounds to enjoy Come and enjoy a walk through the property.

Our Animals

We have a wonderful array of animals on the property. We have Peacocks, Ducks, Goats, Alpacas, Chickens and so much more in the array of Wildlife that surrounds this beautiful location in the Gold Coast Hinterland. We are happy to provide some animal feed in your space so you can go out and get close and enjoy our animals while you stay.

Swimming with a view

Indulge in a serene swim or bask in the sun at our shared pool area while taking in the breathtaking views of the Gold Coast Hinterland and city skyline. Whether you seek a tranquil afternoon under the sun or a revitalising dip on a summer day, this pool is the ideal spot to unwind, regardless of whether you’re travelling with family, friends, or alone.

Additionally, our property boasts an outdoor hot tub that can be reserved for an extra charge. 

Pool operating hours are between 9am – 6pm

Shared Areas on the Property

Discover an abundance of activities and sights to explore on our property. Immerse yourself in the great outdoors at our inviting fire place and BBQ area, complete with a cozy seating area, a barbecue, and a native bee hive. Enjoy an evening of roasting marshmallows, socialising with friends and family, and savoring the natural beauty of the surrounding area.

With so much to see and do, this is the perfect place to connect with nature and make memories that will last a lifetime.

Springbrook National Park

Spectacular waterfalls, lush rainforest, ancient trees, impressive views, exceptional ecological importance and natural beauty makes Springbrook an outstanding place to visit. Springbrook National Park is part of the Gondwana Rainforests of Australia World Heritage Area, one of Queensland’s five World Heritage properties and part of the World Heritage Family.

Eating and Drinking

You are spoilt for choice🌞Bring your own food or dine out. Locally we have Polly’s kitchen and Panchos Mexican. There’s also a lovely High Tea along Springbrook Road and Boomerang Golf Course all with great food and options for entertaining and activities.

Our closest town is Mudgeeraba for supplies, grocery shops, banking, post office, and so many great eating-out options. Lots of great pubs and restaurants that do fantastic meals. Make sure you check out  The Woodchoppers Inn and  The Wheelbarrow that both have consistently good food. Please be aware not many places will deliver to us, like uber eats. 

Polly's Country Kitchen

Opened in 1993 Polly’s is located on five acres of lush rainforest with rolling green lawns and a bubbling fresh creek. The café itself is an authentic old Queenslander with seating located on the veranda that wraps around the entire property. Famous for its Homemade Scones Polly’s is the perfect stop for a quick bite and some much-needed relaxation after a day enjoying the Springbrook trails. They offer an extensive Home-Style menu serving Breakfast, lunch and plenty of café delights.

Gold Coast Beaches
